📚 Newest Addition to the Bookshelf…

I recently watched Remarkably Bright Creatures starring Sally Field, and there was something the octopus said in the movie that stayed with me long after it ended.

It made me curious.Curious about intelligence.Curious about consciousness.Curious about how much we don’t know about the world beneath the surface.

So naturally… I bought the book. 👀🐙

Other Minds: The Octopus, the Sea, and the Deep Origins of Consciousness by Peter Godfrey-Smith

And fun fact… the movie itself was actually based on the book Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt — so now I’ll definitely be adding that to my reading list later too. 📚✨\

One thing I love about reading is that sometimes a single sentence, scene, or question can send you down an entirely new path of learning. That’s the beauty of staying curious.

This is definitely outside my usual goal-setting and personal development lane… but I think growth also comes from exploring ideas that stretch the way we think.

And honestly? Octopuses are fascinating.

Current reminder to myself:Never lose your sense of wonder.
